| is it a crime to want to try mike's hard lemonade? the thought is just deplorable but i am curious...i'll test the malt liquor item and keep the fact away from the beer-loving side.
so i have survived three months at my current job without attacking the punching bags there on a daily basis. last night i completed course 1 out of nine for my teaching program. i figured if i didn't start now on my escape, i'll be stuck there for eternity...or until i find another detour job. it's so funny to think that the degree i have worked hastily on for 4 years is being used to get a teacher's license. i think it's much more rewarding that actually putting my mass communications and political science into practice. i can either blog-a-log about the economy and president obama's work thus far or lead students to become law-abiding citizens who should not be afraid to let their voices be heard. the latter seems more rewarding and less asinine. besides, we have enough pundits and their wannabes.
speaking of work, a kid there looks and sounds like butters from south park. as expected, this kid is one of my favorites. every explaination he makes starts with "that's cuz, that's cuz..." too cute. i also now have one of the other kids saying "bad news bears" for every whiny remark made. there's my legion...
i'm going to go back to quoting tourette's guy. DON'T TALK SHIT ABOUT TOTAL!

| everett is showing me his sock tan while gavin is looking at his old xanga. after getting engaged and all, you'd think we'd be xanga friends....we're not. our relationship is a fraud. har-dee-har.
(but really, it is. HALP PLZ?)
(gavin, if you are reading this, i love you. no fraud. k?)

| xanga. that and sexyback.
since i last updated (a real one), i...
- got my macbook
- worked painfully to finish up mass comm and start/finish political science
- graduated college!
- got a car....and wrecked it!
- got a big girl's job, lost said job, unemployed for some time, now have a new one
- moved a gazillion times (the 512, townhaus, now living with the boy and his fam)
- GOT ENGAGED!
- working on teacher's license and planning a wedding
if you keep up with facebook or know me in real life, then you already know all this. for the rest, this is your update. i'll say something every now and then, i just don't have the time to work on this daily. as for now, i'm going to bed.
(this is for tuba, who i share wanting to bring back xanga with but we never follow through. not this time, pal!)

| i forgot about this. probably for good reason, since i am very terrible about updating my happenings.

| for almost three years, we have been through many ups and downs. i started out with a simple comment, for i did not know the concept of blogging. i spent my early months trying to be nice and funny as possible. little by little, i let more people into my world, my thoughts, me.
it was a very formidable time, learning more about myself and not hiding behind the smiles and laughter. of course, i always have strange but meaningful things to say. over time, i have gone from naive and meek to a grown adult. it's a rather strange transition but it has been meaningful.
lately, i thought about why i still write here. i feel suppressed, not able to get outside of this box. i stopped writing and reflected, pondered, thought about why i'm here. it's a rather tough choice but i have decided this:
as of today, i will no longer post on xanga.
while it is a hard decision, i felt it was best for myself. with my rather outspoken thoughts, i need another outlet. this does not suffice any longer. it has become more shallow and "look at me, i can write!" (actually, no. i deleted those people awhile back. you who are around are cool.) rather than "i can THINK."
so, with this, i am leaving. go outside, experience life, love. hug someone.
you'll thank yourself later.
as for my excursion, i might come back and show you where i went off to. fare thee well, mes amis.
